We are based on Kumbhar Street in Atladra, which is a part of Baroda in Gujarat. Being developers in this area means we are always looking at plots of land and trying to figure out how to put something useful on them. It’s not just about the big buildings; it’s about the small details like where the pipes go and how the sun hits the windows in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time at the municipal office or standing on a patch of dirt talking to masons. Atladra has changed a lot since we started, and we’ve been part of some of that change. We don't have a big corporate office in a glass tower. We work out of Kumbhar Street, where things are a bit more traditional and down to earth. Sometimes the cement price goes up suddenly or we can't get enough laborers because of a local festival, and we have to explain the delays to people. It’s frustrating, but it’s real life in construction. We try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. Building something is a slow process and there are always surprises along the way. We’ve had some tough days and some good ones, just like any other business owner. If you walk past our place, you might see us looking at maps or arguing over a set of house plans on a wooden table.
