We’re based at No. 25 Ajit Nagar, which is very close to Urmi Char Rasta. If you know that intersection, you know it’s always buzzing with traffic and people moving about. Our building is a simple place where we handle all sorts of different tasks throughout the day. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a door and some windows looking out at the street. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with folders and a couple of old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who drop by from the neighborhood. The morning starts with tea and a quick look at what needs to be finished from yesterday. It gets a bit noisy with the cars outside, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve been in Ajit Nagar for years now, and we’ve seen the shops around us change and grow. It’s just a group of us working together to keep things running smoothly. There’s no corporate ladder here, just regular people doing their jobs. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, and other times we head out early if it’s quiet. It’s a practical office for practical work, and we like being right here near the heart of the local activity. We keep the front porch swept and the chairs ready for anyone who needs to wait.
