Yash Beauty Parlour

The parlour is over in Jivabhai Park. It is on the IPCL Road, which stays quite busy during the morning and evening shift changes. We are right by the Undera petrol pump. You can usually smell the petrol when the wind blows the right way toward the shop. It is a handy spot because people stop for fuel and then see the sign for Yash Beauty Parlour. The shop itself is not very large. We have the usual things, like the basins for washing hair and the big mirrors on the wall. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because the dust from the road comes in every time the door opens. Being in the IPCL area means we get a lot of workers and their families coming in. It is a tight-knit community here in Undera. I started this place a few years ago. I didn't want a fancy mall location. I like being where people actually live and go about their day. We have some plastic chairs for waiting and a small TV that is usually on the news or a music channel. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on high speed all day. I do the threading, cutting, and everything else myself. Sometimes my daughter comes in to help after her school is over. We don't have a website or anything. Most people just walk in or call my mobile number to see if I am free. It is a simple life and a simple business.
