Avenue The Hair & Beauty Salon

We are over at Darpan Plaza, specifically in unit 7, right in the Laxmipura area. If you know where the Bandhan Party Plot is, we are just across from there. It is a decent-sized salon, but we try to keep things feeling like a local neighborhood spot. We have been in this building for a few years now, and the mirrors and chairs have seen a lot of use. It is often a bit noisy because we have the hair dryers going and people are always talking. We do not really do the whole high-end spa vibe with quiet music and cucumber water. It is more of a place where you come in, get your hair done or whatever else you need, and catch up on the local gossip. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. We have a few stylists here, and we all have our own ways of doing things. Some days the schedule gets a bit backed up because a haircut took longer than we thought, so people might have to wait a few minutes in the plastic chairs by the window. We try to get through everyone on the list, but we are just regular people working hard. Laxmipura is a growing area, and it is nice to see new faces coming into the plaza. We just take things one customer at a time and try to make sure they look alright.
