Yamuna Brass Industries

Yamuna Brass Industries is out in Gidc, Phase 3, on Plot 4138 along Road H. It is a big industrial area and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you are not from around here. We work with brass all day long, which means the place gets very warm because of the melting process. You can see the yellow glow of the metal when it is liquid. We make all sorts of components, mostly small things that go into bigger machines or plumbing. The workshop is full of molds and bins where we keep the finished pieces. There is a constant humming sound from the exhaust fans trying to pull the heat out. We don't have any fancy reception area for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk to them near the entrance where it is a bit cooler. The work is repetitive but it requires a lot of focus so nobody gets hurt. We have a small crew and everyone has their specific task. Some days we are shipping out boxes of parts and other days we are just preparing the raw materials. It is a lot of heavy lifting and the floors are never really clean because of the grit. We just keep our heads down and get the production done. It is not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We shut the gates in the evening and start again the next day.
