X-One Hair Salon

If you find yourself on Laxmipura Road in the Gorwa area, you might see X-One Hair Salon. We are located in the Parmanand Complex, which is a fairly well-known building around here in Vadodara. The pin code is 390016, but most people just look for the shops along the road. It’s a bit of a walk from the main intersections, but it stays fairly busy. The salon itself isn't huge. It has enough space for the chairs and for people to wait their turn. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy, sweeping up hair every few minutes. The windows look out onto Laxmipura Road, so we see all the bikes and cars passing by all day long. Gorwa is a growing part of the city, and things are always changing, but our shop in Parmanand Complex stays pretty much the same. We have the usual equipment, some mirrors, and a bit of lighting that flickers once in a while. It’s a local spot where neighbors stop in for a quick trim or a shave. We don’t really do anything over the top. It is just about getting the job done so people can get back to their day. Being in Vadodara, it gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s just us here, doing the work and talking to whoever comes through the door. It’s a job like any other and we keep at it daily.
