Vinita Beauty Care

Vinita Beauty Care is right here in Varasia, just a short walk from the Prem Prakash Ashram in Sant Kanwar Colony. We have been in this little spot at C/17 in the Government Housing Society for quite some time now. It is a busy part of Vadodara, and things can get pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just try to keep things steady. Most of the people who come to see us live nearby or are just passing through the colony on their way home. We don't have anything fancy, just the basic chairs and mirrors you would expect in a local parlour. If you need your hair trimmed or maybe some threading done before a family function, this is where you end up. It gets really warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. People usually just drop in to chat while they wait their turn. It’s not a big place, just two or three of us working most days to help the ladies in the neighborhood look a bit tidier. We see a lot of the same faces every month, which is nice because we know exactly how they like things done without them having to say much. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water runs a bit slow, but we manage. That is just how life is in this part of town. We are easy to find if you know the area near the ashram.
