Vasu Research

Being out here in Makarpura GIDC means we are surrounded by a lot of factories and noise. Our place, Vasu Research, is at Plot No. 896/A, which is quite close to Purohit Restaurant. A lot of people use that restaurant as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. The industrial estate is always busy with trucks and people moving things around. In our part of the plot, things are a bit more controlled because of the nature of the work. We spend a lot of time looking at data and testing different things. It’s not the kind of job that looks very exciting from the outside. The building is plain, and we don’t spend much on decorating the walls or anything. Most of our focus is on what happens at the benches and in the lab area. Lunchtime usually involves someone grabbing a parcel from nearby or just eating at the desks. The dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes in the summer months. We’ve grown used to the hum of the machines from the neighbors next door. It feels like a real working environment where things actually get made and tested. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time, so the routine is pretty well set for everyone on the staff. There's no big sign or anything, just the plot number and the work we do every day.
