Vaishali Beauty Parlour

Vaishali Beauty Parlour is situated at Gf-6 in the Rajvee Tower. We are right on Old Padra Road, directly across from the Bank of Baroda. It is a good location in Vadodara because everyone knows where the bank is. I spend a lot of time in this shop, probably more than I spend at my own house. It’s got a few chairs and a small area for facials in the back. The lighting isn't always perfect, but I’ve learned to work with it over the years. We get a lot of people who work in the offices nearby stopping in. Sometimes we are so busy I forget to eat lunch until four in the afternoon. The shop has a specific smell of hairspray and soap that I’ve grown used to. I don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign when they are going to the bank or driving past on the 390012 road. It is just me and one other girl working most days. We keep things pretty informal here. If a customer is late, we don't make a big deal out of it because we know how the traffic is around Rajvee Tower. It is a humble little spot. We just focus on doing a decent job so people come back next time. Nothing too complicated about it. We are just here doing our thing day after day to keep the business going.
