Uma Medical

Uma Medical is over at number 5 in the Pegna Park Society. We are located right on the New Ipcl Road in the Corva area. It is a decent place to be. The society itself is usually pretty quiet, but the road out front is a different story. It gets a lot of traffic from people heading toward the industrial areas, so there is always a bit of a buzz. The shop is small and sits in a corner of the building. We have these glass counters that have been here for years and some cabinets that we try to keep organized. We don't really do the whole marketing thing with posters and bright lights. We just keep the things people need on the shelves where they can see them. Sometimes when we get a big shipment, we have to stack boxes in the back because we run out of room. The light in the shop gets a bit dim in the late afternoon, but it’s a comfortable space. We know most of the families from Pegna Park by their first names. They stop by when they’re coming home from work or taking a walk. We spend a lot of our time just tidying up and writing down what needs to be ordered for the next week. It’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. When it’s nice out, we leave the door open to catch a breeze. It’s a simple, local way to work.
