Assistance Nurse

Our small office is at 8 Royal Park Society, not far from Nutan School on New Sama Road. It is mostly a place where we coordinate schedules for the staff who go out to people's homes. Being in Baroda, we see a lot of families who need an extra hand with their elderly parents or someone who is recovering from a recent surgery. We are not a big hospital or a flashy corporation. It is just a few of us sitting around a couple of desks, making sure everyone gets to their nursing shift on time. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking if we have someone available for the night shift or for just a few hours in the morning. We try to keep things organized in our folders, but it can get a bit hectic when someone calls in sick. Royal Park is a quiet enough area, which is nice for work. Most of our nurses and assistants live nearby or know this part of the city very well. We spend a lot of time talking to families about what they actually need at home. There is no big sales pitch here. We just look at who is free and who has the right kind of experience for the job. Sometimes we have a quick meeting in the front room before the day gets too busy.
