The Childrens Hospital

The Childrens Hospital is over in the Srinagar Society area of Akota, right across from the subregistrar office. It is a busy part of Vadodara, and we have been in this 12/A spot for quite some time now. Dealing with kids all day means the place is rarely quiet. There is usually a mix of crying, laughing, and the sound of toys being dropped on the floor. We try to keep things organized, but in a place full of children, things tend to get messy pretty fast. The walls have some old stickers on them, and the exam rooms are small but they get the job done. We see all sorts of cases, from simple fevers to things that require a longer stay in one of the beds. The staff is used to the chaos, and we just move from one room to the next throughout the day. Parking near the subregistrar office can be a nightmare sometimes, so we often see parents looking a bit stressed before they even walk through our doors. We don't have a corporate board or a fancy lobby; it is just a functional hospital where the priority is making sure the kids get better. The hallways are narrow, and we have to be careful not to trip over any strollers left in the way. It is a lot of work, but seeing a kid walk out feeling better is why we stay here.
