Pinku Children Hospital

You can find Pinku Children Hospital over on RV Desai Road in the Pratap Nagar area. Dealing with kids all day means it is never really quiet around here. There is usually the sound of a baby crying or a toddler playing with the toys we keep in the corner of the waiting room. Pratap Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and being on RV Desai Road means we get a lot of local families coming in. We spend a lot of time talking to parents who are worried about a cough or a fever. The hospital isn't very big, but we have enough space for the exam rooms and a few beds for kids who need to stay for observation. We try to keep the atmosphere a bit light so the children don't get too scared when they see the needles or the doctors. The walls have some drawings on them, and things are a bit cluttered sometimes with all the charts and medical supplies. Our nurses are good at handling fussy babies while the parents ask their questions. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. It is just a desk with a lot of files and a phone that rings quite a bit. We are just here to help the kids in Pratap Nagar get back to playing as soon as possible. It is hard work but we are used to the noise.
