Astha Children Hospital

Our place is located at B-12 in New Narayannagar on Vasna Road. We call it a hospital, but it’s really a small, local facility for children. We’ve been on Vasna Road for a good number of years now. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of houses and apartments nearby. The building itself is a bit older, but we keep it as clean as we can. There are a few beds for kids who need to stay for a day or two, and a small area for consultations. It’s usually me and a couple of nurses here. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small kitchen area where we make tea. Parents usually bring food from home if they are staying. The traffic on Vasna Road can be a bit much during the morning rush, so getting here might take a few extra minutes. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV, just some benches. It feels more like a house than a cold hospital. We know most of the people who live in New Narayannagar. It’s a community-based setup where we handle everything from fevers to more serious stuff that requires an overnight stay. Nothing flashy, just a practical place for families to bring their children when they aren't feeling well. We try to keep things calm, though it can get pretty loud when the ward is full of kids.
