T D W (India) Ltd has its base here in Alkapuri at number 16. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, so finding us isn't too hard for the delivery drivers or visitors. We’ve been operating from this same location for quite some years now. The office is pretty functional and simple. We have our desks, the coffee machine that works most of the time, and lots of paperwork stacked up. Being in Alkapuri means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is handy for getting things done. Most of the people working here live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad for most of us. We focus on the technical side of things, mostly related to pipelines and the infrastructure that goes with them. It’s serious work, but the atmosphere in the office is relaxed enough. We don’t go in for big meetings that last all day; we just talk over the partitions when something needs doing. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's dead quiet for hours. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows their job. We don’t spend much time or money on decorating the place, as long as the computers work and there's enough light to see by. It’s a steady kind of life here. We show up, get the tasks finished, and go home to our families. That’s how it’s always been for us at number 16. It's just a regular office doing regular business every day.
