Our office is situated at 148, Ganga Sagar Soc, near the Chanakyapuri Char Rasta on New Sama Road in Baroda. Even though the name on our registration mentions Mumbai, we are firmly planted here in Baroda. The Chanakyapuri Char Rasta is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of noise and movement just a short distance from our front door. Inside the Ganga Sagar Society, things are a bit calmer, which is good for the kind of engineering work we do. We have a standard setup with rows of desks and plenty of storage for our technical manuals and project files. The team here has a routine that doesn't change much from day to day. We start the morning with a quick check of what needs to be done and then we just dive into it. There is a lot of coordination involved because we have to stay in touch with other offices and clients quite often. The office isn't very large, so we all end up knowing what everyone else is working on. It’s a very transparent way to operate. When the weather is nice, some of us take a walk down New Sama Road during the break to get away from the screens for a bit. We don't go in for big speeches or complicated mission statements. We just try to do a good job with the technical drawings and reports we are responsible for.
