Swastik Academy

Swastik Academy is found at D-81 in the Tulsishyam Society, which is over in the Makarpura area of Vadodara. We are located right behind Padam Park and just across from the Novino Battery Company. It is a pretty easy place to find once you are in the neighborhood. The 390014 area is mostly residential, which makes it a nice, relatively quiet spot for a study centre. Our setup is very basic and homey. We have converted a couple of rooms into classrooms with simple desks and chairs. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a fancy front desk; we just take care of things ourselves. Most of the children who come here live in Tulsishyam Society or the nearby streets. We have been here for quite some time and have become a familiar part of the local community. We don't have any grand missions or polished slogans. We just focus on the school books and help the students with whatever they are struggling with. It is just a regular daily routine for us. We open the doors in the morning, get the tea ready, and wait for the students to arrive after their school day ends. It is a practical and honest way to spend the day. We like the quiet feel of being behind the park and away from the main road traffic. It is just a simple, local place for learning and getting through exams.
