Sushobhan Dresses

You can find Sushobhan Dresses right across from the Bank of India in the Raopura area. It’s a central spot, so there are always people walking by. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. We have racks of dresses everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, especially when we get new stock in. Raopura is one of those places that never really sleeps. We’ve been here quite a while and have seen the shops around us change many times. We are just a local family run business. My mom is usually the one at the counter, and I help out with the inventory and the customers. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done in our notebooks. The shop gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing department. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We aren't trying to be a giant chain or anything like that. We just like being in Raopura and selling dresses. It’s a simple life. We don't have any scripted speeches about our "goals." We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the customers find something they like. Most of our regulars are like friends now.
