Subprime Hair Art

Subprime Hair Art is situated in Sartaj Flats, which is on Tandalja Road here in Vadodara. It is a small place where we spend most of our daylight hours. Being in the Tandalja area means we see a lot of the same faces every week. We started this shop because we wanted something of our own in the neighborhood. It is a basic setup with everything a person needs for a haircut. We do not have any big corporate rules or anything like that. It is just a few of us working together. The shop has a couple of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep our scissors sharp and the combs clean. It gets busy during the festive seasons, and sometimes the wait can be a little long, but nobody seems to mind much. We usually just talk about what is happening in the city or the latest cricket scores. It is not a place for anything too high-end or expensive. We just provide regular hair cutting services for the local people. The light in the shop is good in the mornings because of the way the building faces. We open up early and stay until the evening when the street lights on Tandalja Road come on. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We are just glad to have a steady stream of people coming in to say hello and get their hair trimmed.
