Diwakar Knitters

We run Diwakar Knitters out of No. 207 in Krishna Apartment. It is located on Subhash Cross Road. It is a bit different because we are in an apartment building rather than a storefront on the main street. It makes things a little quieter for us, which is nice when we are working on the machines. We have our equipment set up and we spend the day knitting. The space is not really meant for a lot of people to hang out in. It is mostly just where the work gets done. Subhash Cross Road is a familiar place to us. We know the other people in the building quite well. Sometimes they stop by to see what we are making. We do not have a big marketing department. We just rely on the quality of the things we make. It is a small operation, mostly just a few of us here. The apartment can get a bit warm in the summer with all the machines running. We have had to get used to the rhythm of the work over time. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We do not make any big promises or use big words. We just knit.
