Our clinic is up on the third floor of the Sneh Sudha Complex, room 302. We are located in the Dandia Bazar area, right near the fire station and opposite the Sur Sagar. The music college is also just beside us. Being on the third floor helps keep the noise from the street down, which is really important for the hearing tests we do. The elevator in this building is a bit temperamental, so sometimes we tell people to take the stairs if they are able. Inside, the rooms are set up with all the testing equipment and computers we need. We have a small waiting area with a couple of chairs and a rug that is starting to fray at the edges. There are some posters on the walls showing the parts of the ear and how speech works, but they are a bit faded from the sun. We are a private limited company on paper, but in the office, it is just a few of us trying to get through the daily schedule. We have a water cooler in the corner that makes a loud bubbling sound every time someone uses it. The staff is usually busy with patients or filing away the paperwork that seems to grow every week. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a coffee machine. It is just a quiet, functional place where we do our jobs every day.
