You will find our lab over at B-15 in the Saroj Park Society, which is tucked behind the Gayatri Petrol Pump in Undera. Being in a residential area like this makes it a bit quieter than the main roads in Gorwa, which our patients seem to appreciate. We mostly handle the standard blood draws and urine tests that local doctors ask for. The place is simple, with a small waiting area and a couple of rooms for taking samples. We open up quite early because that is when most people need to come in for their fasting tests before they head off to work or school. It is just a few of us working here, so we end up doing everything from the testing to the cleaning and the filing. We keep the equipment maintained and the surfaces wiped down constantly. Sometimes the results take a little longer if the machines are being temperamental, but we always try to get the reports ready by the evening. The neighbors in the society are used to seeing people coming and going from our gate. We do not have any big corporate signs, just a plain board so people know they have the right house. It is a very local operation and we just focus on getting the details right so people can take their results back to their clinics without any trouble. It is a straightforward, busy little lab serving this corner of Vadodara.
