Smit Mens Saloon

We are located over at Shop No 7 in the Harsh Complex. If you know the Old Padra Road area, it is right there on the main road. Most people find us easily because we are situated right under the Bank Of Baroda. It is a simple place for men to come and get their hair done. We have the usual chairs and mirrors you would expect. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic outside on the main road, but that is just how it is in Vadodara. We started this shop to give people a place in the neighborhood where they can sit down and get a trim without too much fuss. There is usually some music playing on the radio or the news on a small TV in the corner. Sometimes there is a wait, especially on Sunday mornings when everyone seems to have the same idea. We have a few old magazines on the table for that. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping it up throughout the day. The shop isn't very big, but it fits what we need. We use standard tools and keep things straightforward. You can see the Harsh Complex sign from the street. We spend most of our time here from morning until the evening. It is a regular life running a saloon in this part of town. We know many of the faces who walk through the door because they live nearby.
