Siddharth Travels

We are located at B/25 Santkawnar Colony in Khokhra, right across from the Corporation School. It’s a small office but we stay quite busy with all the travel bookings. People come in to ask about bus timings or to hire a car for a trip. The phones ring a lot, especially during the wedding season or holidays. We spend most of our day looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best routes for folks. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to drivers. Sometimes the traffic outside the school makes it hard to park, but we manage. We’ve been here in this colony for quite some time. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some chairs for people to wait. We don't do anything flashy, just book the tickets and make sure the cars show up when they are supposed to. Traveling can be a headache for people, so we just try to make that part a bit easier. Most of our regulars live nearby in Khokhra. We know most of them by name now. It’s just a local travel shop doing its thing every day. When the drivers come back from long trips, they sit here and have tea while telling us about the road conditions. We just keep the books straight and make sure everyone gets where they are going. It’s a decent living. We sometimes run out of biscuits when the drivers all show up at once at Siddharth Travels.
