Shreeji Hair Art

Shreeji Hair Art is over at number 4 in the Ektanagar Society. We are right at the Vrundavan Cross Road on Waghodia Road. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people every day. It’s mostly men coming in for a quick hair cut or a shave. The shop is small and simple. I have a few old chairs that are still comfortable enough for a ten-minute cut. I don't go in for all the fancy decorations you see in the big malls. This is just a local shop for local people. Waghodia Road is always full of dust and noise, so I keep the door halfway shut sometimes. I’ve been cutting hair in this neighborhood for a long time. You get used to the rhythm of the traffic and the regulars who stop by just to say hello. Sometimes the water pressure is low, or the fan makes a squeaking noise, but we get by. I keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean, and that’s the main thing. It’s honest work. I don't have any big slogans or anything. Just come in, sit down, and get your hair done. When the day ends, I sweep up all the hair, lock the gate, and head home to the family. It’s a good enough life for me here. Most people around here know me by name and that is enough for my business.
