Shree Sainath Hair Art

Shree Sainath Hair Art is located at Shop No3 in Narayan Complex. We are right across from the PWD quarters in Waghodia. If you are coming from Kaladarshan Char Rasta, it is a very short trip to get to us. The shop is mostly for men’s hair and shaves. It is a simple setup with mirrors and the usual barber chairs. I spend most of my day here. The neighborhood is growing quite a bit, so we see new people moving in and coming by for a haircut. Sometimes the kids from the quarters come in and it gets a bit noisy for a while. We have a small television in the corner to keep people occupied while they wait for their turn. The chairs have seen better days but they are still sturdy and get the job done. We keep our scissors and razors ready at all times. It is hard work standing all day long, but it’s what we do to get by. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast when we are busy, so the broom is always leaning against the wall nearby. We don't have any big signs or advertisements, just the one over the shop door. People in Vadodara like to talk, so there is always some conversation about cricket or politics happening. It is a plain shop, nothing like those expensive salons you see in the malls. We just provide a place for a haircut and a bit of a break.
