Shree Sai Hair Art

Our shop, Shree Sai Hair Art, is located at Shop No-7 in the Padmshree Complex. It’s right on Vasna Road, which stays pretty busy most of the time. We are quite close to the Raneshwar Temple, so we see a lot of people passing by on their way there. The Vasna Bhayli Road area has changed quite a bit over the years with more buildings coming up, but we stay right here in our corner. It’s a basic place where men from the neighborhood come to get their hair sorted out. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It is just about the work. Usually, there’s a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings because that’s when everyone has time off. We recognize most of the people who come through the door. Some have been coming since they were kids and now they bring their own children. It makes the day go by faster when you have people to talk to. The shop has a ceiling fan that hums along all day and we keep the windows clean enough to see the traffic outside. We just focus on what needs to be done. There is no rush, even when it’s busy. We like the rhythm of this part of Vadodara. It feels like home to us. Being in Padmshree Complex is convenient because people can do their other errands nearby too. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
