Shivam Hair & Care

You can find Shivam Hair & Care at the Vrunadavand Complex. We are in shop number two on the Varasiya Ring Road. It’s a busy part of Varasia here in Vadodara. We are right opposite the Prathna Duplex, so that’s a good landmark. The ring road is always humming with scooters and cars. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, so we have to mop the floor a few times a day. The complex has a few other shops, but we stay in our own space. I’ve been working with hair for a long time. This shop in 390022 is where I spend most of my hours. It’s not a big place. We have the usual stuff, mirrors, some old magazines, and the cutting tools. I like the people around here. They are hardworking and don't want anything too complicated. They tell me what they want, and I do my best to match it. Sometimes we talk about cricket or the prices at the market. It feels like a small community even though the road is so big. I keep the towels clean and the water warm. When the evening comes, the lights on the ring road turn on and the shop feels a bit different. We stay open late enough for the office folks to stop by. It’s just honest work. Nothing more, nothing less. We are just here doing our bit on the road.
