Shivam Classes

Located on Palace Road in the Chinch Bunder area, Shivam Classes is tucked away in an older building that has a lot of character. The area is very commercial and always bustling with activity, which makes our quiet classroom feel like a bit of an escape for the students. To get to us, you have to walk through some narrow corridors and up some worn-out stairs. The rooms are not very large, so we have to be careful with how we arrange the seating. We have some basic desks and a couple of boards for writing out lessons. It’s a very traditional way of teaching, focusing on direct communication between us and the students. We see a lot of hard-working kids who come here after a long day at school. The lighting inside is a bit dim sometimes, but we have enough lamps to keep things bright for reading. We don't do any flashy advertising or have a big front office. People find us because their older siblings or friends came here before them. It’s a steady, reliable place in the heart of a busy South Mumbai neighborhood. We spend our evenings checking homework and preparing for the next day's classes. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and help the kids in the area get ahead. We’ve been at this address for years and it feels like home.
