Shakti Hair Saloon

Shakti Hair Saloon is located at S-2 in the Somdutt Apartment building. We are right on the road that goes toward Rajesh Tower, very close to Gotri Road. It is a decent area to work in, quite active with people always going back and forth to the Naine Clinic nearby. We have been here for some time now, handling the daily rush of the neighborhood. The shop itself isn’t very large, but we have organized everything to make the most of the space we have. We have the usual setup with the mirrors and the chairs. It gets a bit dusty inside sometimes being so close to the main road, so we spend a lot of our spare time cleaning up the floor. Working in Gotri has its own rhythm. You see the same faces every single morning and evening. We focus on the basic tasks, just cutting hair and keeping things as neat as possible. There is no big sign with flashing lights out front, just our name written on the door. People find us because they live in the apartments above or are just passing through to the main road. It can get a little loud with all the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep a steady hand and a calm environment inside the shop. Sometimes the chai wala stops by and we take a quick break together. It is just honest, practical work. We keep the scissors moving and make sure the floor is swept clean.
