Shah Medical & Surgical Agency

Our agency is tucked away in Bhaukales Lane, inside the Bapat Wada area of Raopura. It's a bit of an older part of town. We are right opposite the M M Shah Class. Finding us can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the lanes, but once you find number 13, you're there. Shah Medical & Surgical Agency does a lot of surgical supplies as well as medicines. The building has that old Vadodara feel to it. It’s not a shiny new showroom. We have stacks of boxes everywhere. Surgical equipment takes up a lot of room. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and hospitals. It’s a noisy place when the fans are on high. We’ve been operating out of Raopura because it’s central. People come here when they can’t find specific surgical items elsewhere. We don't really have a front window for displays. It’s more of a working warehouse and office. We keep a close eye on our inventory because things move fast. The lane outside is narrow, so it can get congested with scooters. We just get on with our work. It’s about getting the right tools to the doctors and the right medicine to the patients. It’s a plain, honest business. We have been in this lane for years and know all the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when things are quiet.
