Dhiraj General Hospital

We are located in Vadodara, specifically in the Vishnuprasad Society area near Shastribaug in Wadi. The hospital is at number 22, and it’s a place that feels very much like part of the community. Hemant Shridhar Devdhar is the name on the records, but to most people, we are just the local hospital they come to when they aren't feeling well. The building isn't a massive modern glass tower; it's a practical space designed to help people get better. We have families coming in and out all day long. Some days are very stressful, especially when there are a lot of patients, but we just take it one person at a time. The nurses and the staff here know many of the neighbors by name. It’s a busy environment with the sounds of trolleys and voices in the hallways. We spend our time checking charts, giving out medicine, and talking to worried relatives. It’s not an easy job, but it feels important. We try to keep things as clean and orderly as possible, even when it gets crowded. Being behind Shastribaug means it’s a familiar spot for anyone living in Wadi. We don't have a lot of fancy waiting rooms, just rows of chairs and people waiting for their turn. We just do our best to look after whoever walks through the door. It is a humble place, but we work hard to keep it running.
