Shah Hiral Umakant

We are over at 202 Sai Ganga Apartment, which is right across from the Dena Bank in Alkapuri. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of town, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us if they know where the bank is. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, though mostly it is just cars and people walking to the bank or the nearby shops. Shah Hiral Umakant is the name on our documents. The apartment building itself is older, but it holds up well enough. Inside, it’s mostly just a quiet space where the work gets done. There is a small balcony where I stand sometimes just to breathe for a minute when the computer screen gets to be too much. Alkapuri is always moving, so there is never a dull moment if you look out the window. The lift in the building is a bit slow and makes a strange humming sound, so I usually just take the stairs if I’m not carrying anything heavy. It keeps me moving, I suppose. I like the neighborhood because everything you need is just a short walk away. Lunch usually comes from a small place down the road that does a decent thali. It’s a simple setup we have here, nothing flashy or modern, just a place to sit and handle our business day after day.
