Sevak Hair Salons

Sevak Hair Salons is down in the BF/27 section of Kalpvrux Complex on Gotri Road. Being in a complex like this means we have a lot of other shops around us as neighbors. It’s a solid location in Vadodara, and we have been operating out of this unit for a good amount of time. The shop is a bit below the main street level, so it stays a little cooler than the shops outside. We have our mirrors and our chairs set up in a way that makes the most of the space. It is not a huge salon, but we have enough room to breathe. We spend a lot of our time organizing the bottles and making sure the capes are folded. The morning routine is always the same—unlocking the door, turning on the lights, and checking the schedule if there is one. Most people just drop by when they have time. Gotri is a fast-moving area, but we try to keep a steady pace inside. We don't have any polished corporate speeches. We just talk like regular people. Sometimes the music is playing, sometimes it’s just the sound of the scissors. We’ve seen the complex change over the years as different businesses come and go, but we are still here in BF/27. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of the city. We don't need much more than our tools and a few good customers to keep things going.
