Santoshi Hair Art

Santoshi Hair Art is located in Shop No. 1 at the Dharmada Shopping Center in Chhani. We are quite close to the vegetable market and the old Darwaja in Vadodara. Being in the 391740 area means we see a lot of people coming and going to buy their groceries. The shopping center is an older building, but it’s a good spot for us. We keep the shop open through the day, even when it’s slow. Chhani is a nice place to work because you know most of the people walking past the door. The vegetable market nearby brings in a lot of activity in the mornings. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. There isn't much space inside, but we make it work with the chairs we have. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. When you walk in, you just sit down and wait for your turn. We spend a lot of time sharpening our tools and making sure the mirrors stay clean. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we have to wipe things down often. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular hair shop near the Darwaja. We don't have a big sign or bright lights, just the name on the front. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the market slows down. Most days we are just sweeping and waiting for the next person to come by.
