Sanjari Collection

Sanjari Collection is situated on Mandavi Road, quite close to the Pani Gate area. It is a very busy stretch of road and the dust from the street often finds its way inside the shop. We have to wipe down the counters several times a day to keep things clean. Being near Pani Gate means there is always something happening outside. We see all kinds of people passing by our window. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have some racks and a few lights that flicker sometimes. It is just a place where we keep our collection and wait for people to stop in. There isn't much room for a fancy office so we just use a small corner for our accounts. We started Sanjari Collection because we needed a place to work and this spot on Mandavi Road was available. It’s been our second home ever since. Some days are very quiet and we just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other days are hectic and we barely have time to eat lunch. We don't use any fancy systems to keep track of things. It is mostly just pen and paper and memory. We’ve grown used to the noise of the bikes and the calling of the street vendors. It’s just how it is around here. We open up the doors every morning and see what the day brings us without any big plans.
