Samarpan Classes

We run Samarpan Classes from our location at Manjalpur 215. It’s a straightforward tutoring center where we focus on helping students with their daily schoolwork. The space we have is used for different groups throughout the day. It’s not a fancy institution; it’s more like a neighborhood study hall with teachers who care. We spend a lot of time going over math problems or explaining science concepts that are hard to grasp. The walls have some old charts on them and there are plenty of wooden benches for the kids to sit on. Manjalpur is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly just textbooks, notebooks, and a lot of patience from everyone involved. Some days the students are very motivated and other days it’s a struggle to keep them focused on the task at hand. We understand that because we were students once too. We stay open according to the school terms. We don't spend money on advertising our classes. People usually hear about us from other parents in the area. It’s a practical way to earn a living and help out the kids nearby. We keep the lights on late into the evening. The work is repetitive but we like the routine of it. We just do our best to help everyone who walks through the door at 215. It is a simple life for us.
