Saheli Beauty Parlour

Our little place is at shop number 2 in the Balaji Arcade on Waghodia Road. It is tucked back a bit, right behind Zaver Nagar, so it is a bit quieter than being right on the main street edge. We like it that way because it feels a bit more private for the ladies who come in. The arcade itself is a simple building, and we have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us. There is a small parking area out front for a few cycles and bikes. Inside, we have just the basic chairs and the equipment we use every day. It is not a large shop, so when we have three or four people waiting, it starts to feel a bit full. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep the air moving, especially during the humid months in Vadodara. People usually find us by looking for the sign behind Zaver Nagar. We do a lot of thread work and basic hair stuff most of the time. It is a neighborhood spot, so we see the same faces every month. We do not do anything fancy with the decor; it is just a functional space with some mirrors and our supplies on the shelves. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it is quiet just to get some fresh air and watch the people going about their business.
