S S G Hospital Medical Collage

This is the P & Sm Department at the medical college. We spend a lot of our time dealing with public health stuff and teaching the students who are going to be doctors one day. It’s located right inside the college area, so there’s always people moving around between their classes. We deal with things like community health and how different diseases might spread in the local neighborhood. It's not like a regular hospital ward where people stay overnight in beds. It’s more about the study of medicine and the paperwork and all the data we collect. The office is usually full of books and stacks of files that need looking at. Students come in and out all day asking questions about their projects or exams. We have to keep track of a lot of different things for the department to run right. Sometimes we go out into the field to see how things are going in the local areas nearby. It involves a lot of walking and talking to different people in their homes. The building itself is an old one, which is pretty typical for a college campus. It has that specific smell of old paper and wooden desks. We keep a schedule but things often change depending on what the college needs us to do that week. It's a busy place but actually quite quiet in its own way. Everyone just does their part to keep the department running. We’ve been in this spot for a long time.
