Ruchi Beauty Parlour

Ruchi Beauty Parlour is located at 21 Rudraksh Avenue, which is on Dabhoi Road. It is quite close to the M M Vohra Showroom, so people usually find us easily. I started this place because I wanted something of my own. Dabhoi Road is always dusty and noisy, but inside the parlour, we try to keep things calm. The space isn't huge, but we have enough room for a few people at a time. I usually do most of the work myself. From threading to basic facials, it is a lot of standing around all day. My back hurts sometimes by the evening, but that is part of the job. Most of our clients live in the nearby apartments and they just walk over when they have some free time. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If the phone rings, I just answer it while I’m working. It is a very informal atmosphere. We talk about the weather or the price of vegetables while I work on their hair. Sometimes the water pressure in the building is a bit low, so we keep extra buckets ready. It is just a practical way to run a business. I don’t believe in making things look more expensive than they are. People come here because they know what to expect and they like the familiar faces.
