Roshni Investment Services

We’re over at C 86 in the Harinagar part of Karelibaug. Our office is right across from Bright School. You can hear the kids playing during recess, which keeps things lively. At Roshni Investment Services, we keep things pretty low-key. The office is just a regular ground-floor space. We have a few desks and some old wooden cupboards for all the files. It’s a local business, so we know a lot of the parents who drop their kids off at the school. People stop in to chat about their savings or just to say hello. Harinagar is a nice, settled neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re in a skyscraper. We just sit down with a cup of tea and go through the options with folks. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it doesn't affect the work. We use computers, of course, but we still like having things written down. It’s a small team here. We handle the day-to-day operations ourselves without any big fuss. When school lets out, the street gets really busy for about twenty minutes, then it goes back to being quiet. It’s a good place to run a business. We usually keep some candy on the desk for when the neighborhood children walk by with their parents.
