We’ve been here at Katwala Estate for quite some time now. If you head down toward Yakutpura, near the old P G Textile Mill, you’ll find us right by Super File Ind Estate. It’s a busy spot, mostly industrial. We spend our days working with tin, making different things that people need for their shops or homes. It gets loud sometimes with all the cutting and shaping going on, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. Most of us here have been doing this since we were young. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a workshop with tools and materials scattered around. You see the same faces every day, mostly guys from around the neighborhood. Sometimes the heat is a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and get through the orders. People know us because we’ve stayed in the same place and we don’t try to act like we’re something we aren't. We just handle the metal, take the measurements, and get the job done. It’s a simple living. If a customer walks in, they usually just tell us what they want, we write it down on a pad, and we get to it. No complicated forms or long waits. It’s just us, the tin, and the daily routine here in the estate.
