Setting up in Savali at G.I.D.C was a practical move for us. We are at number 31 in Manjosar, which is a busy area with trucks moving in and out all day long. The air usually smells like dust and grease, but that is just how it is in an industrial zone. Our space is basically a big shed with a small office tucked into the corner. It gets quite hot under the metal roof when the sun is out, but we have a few big fans to keep the air moving. We spend most of our time out on the floor making sure the machines are running right. Shri Ram Products isn't a huge operation with hundreds of workers. It is just a handful of us who know the equipment inside out. We have some grease under our fingernails most days. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with soft chairs. If someone comes by, they usually just find us near the back working on an order. It’s a hardworking atmosphere where people just want to do their jobs well. We’ve been in this part of Manjosar long enough to know all the neighbors. It’s a good community of makers and fixers. We just keep our heads down and keep the production going every day.
