Mangalam Hardware

Mangalam Hardware is our little shop over in Pratap Nagar. We are at Shop Number 22, located in the Darsana Antika area on Santeshwar Road. We are pretty close to the Heavy Water site, which is a big landmark around here. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of space to store our inventory. We sell all the usual hardware stuff like tools, pipes, and electrical supplies. It can get a bit disorganized because new stock is always coming in and we don't always have a place for it right away. Usually, it's just me and my assistant working. We know where most things are, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. People from the neighborhood come to us because we are close by and they can just grab what they need for a quick repair at home. We don't have a website or a fancy computer system for the sales. We just write everything down in a notebook. The area is fairly quiet, which is nice. We open up in the morning and stay until about seven. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to talk for a bit. We don't do anything special, just sell hardware at fair prices. It’s a small life but it keeps us busy and happy enough. We’ve been here a while now and keep a pot of tea going.
