Proficient Classes

Proficient Classes is based in the Wadi area of Vadodara, specifically near Vadi Chokhandi. We are located quite close to the Aiavi Co-Operative Bank. This part of town is very traditional and has a lot of history. The streets are often full of people and small shops. Our place is simple and fits right into the neighborhood. We have been here long enough that we feel like a part of the local fabric. The building is older, but we keep our rooms tidy and ready for the students. We have the usual setup of benches and boards. It’s not a big corporate center with glass walls; it’s just a few rooms where we get to work every day. The students come from the nearby houses in Wadi. Some of them have been coming to us for years as they move through different grades. We spend our time explaining lessons and making sure everyone is keeping up with their schoolwork. It can get quite loud outside with the sounds of the market and the traffic, but inside we just focus on the books. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth. It’s a humble operation, and we are happy staying that way. We just open up every day, wait for the students to arrive, and do our best to help them with whatever subjects they are struggling with at the time. It gets tiring sometimes, but that is just part of the job.
