Our place is tucked away in Vaikunthdham Society, right at B 55 in the Makarpura area of Vadodara. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, though you can hear the planes from the Air Force Station nearby since we are just behind it. Most of the people who come to us are just living around here in the society or working in the nearby shops. We started this because we liked doing hair and skin stuff, nothing too complicated. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it’s raining, but we just push it open. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the day. People usually drop by after they finish their house work or when the kids are at school. It’s not like those big fancy salons in the city malls. We have a few chairs and the mirrors are a bit old, but they do the job. You won't find any glossy magazines here, just a place to get your eyebrows done or a quick haircut. On weekends, it gets a bit crowded with ladies from the neighborhood talking about their day. We just try to get everyone through without making them wait too long in the heat. If you’re looking for the place, just head toward the back of the Air Force station and look for the society gate. It's pretty easy to find once you are in the lane.
