Our place is at Sb-7 in the Hiravanti Complex which is right opposite the Aryakanya Vidyalaya in Karelibaug. Having a school so close by means there are always kids and parents walking around outside our door. We started Priya Arts because we just liked the process of making things by hand. It is not a very big operation and we just have a few people working here. We have some desks and a lot of equipment squeezed into our small unit. It often gets quite messy with paper scraps and supplies all over the place. We try to keep it organized but when we have a lot of work to do the mess just grows. We have seen many students come and go over the years we have been here. The complex has several other shops and we all know each other pretty well. We do not have a big office or a fancy website. Most people just hear about us and come by when they have something they need help with. We sit down and talk to them about their ideas and then we just get to work. It is a very straightforward way of doing things. We are not interested in being a giant company. We just want to do a job that makes people feel okay about what they paid for. The light in here gets a bit dim in the late afternoon but we have our lamps.
