Pradeep Hardware

Working in the Makarpura Industrial Estate means you’re always surrounded by noise and a lot of activity. Pradeep Hardware is right in the GIDC area, on Vadsar Main Road. We are near Priya Sales, which is a big enough place that most people use it as a landmark when they are trying to find us. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of bits and pieces, tools, and metal parts. It’s hard to keep it perfectly clean with all the industrial dust from the road, but we do our best every morning. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other business owners on this street. It’s a tight-knit place despite all the big factories around us. We get all sorts of people walking in, from workers looking for a single bolt to managers needing a whole list of items for a project. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. It's just a counter and rows of heavy metal shelves. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find something specific in the back, but we usually have it somewhere. The traffic on Vadsar road can be a total nightmare in the evenings when everyone is leaving the estate at once. We usually stay open until the rush dies down a bit. It’s a gritty, busy kind of life, but we like being in the middle of all the industry.
