Jalaram Agencies is right at the Char Rasta on Hathikhana Road in Fatehpura. If you know the area, you know that the four-way crossing is always a bit chaotic with cars, bikes, and cows all trying to move at once. Our shop is right in the middle of all that. We act as an agency, so we take in a lot of goods and distribute them to the smaller shops in the neighborhood. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes all day long. The building is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We have a small desk near the front where we keep all the receipts and paperwork. It’s usually a mess of papers, but we know where everything is. People stop by all day, sometimes just to say hello or to ask about a price. We don't have a formal way of doing things. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to stay ahead of the schedule. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, and the floor is worn down from all the foot traffic, but it’s home to us. We’ve been here a long time and we know almost everyone on Hathikhana Road. It’s just a basic business helping move goods from one place to another.
