Pioneer Communication

Pioneer Communication is tucked away on Tamarind Lane 10 in the Subhanpura area. It is a nice little spot, a bit away from the main road noise, which I appreciate. Most of our work involves dealing with cables, connections, and the various bits of hardware that keep people’s internet or phones running. The shop is narrow, so we have to be organized. I have got shelves filled with routers, coils of wire, and different kinds of connectors that most people wouldn't recognize. My workspace is at the very back, under a bright lamp where I can see the small wires I am working with. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by a stray cow or a delivery van, and everything slows down for a bit. I spend my time either talking to people on the phone about their connection problems or fixing a piece of equipment that someone brought in. The walls have a few old calendars hanging on them, mostly just to cover up some of the scuffs. I do not have a big staff, just me and occasionally someone to help with the heavier lifting. Subhanpura is a good neighborhood, and Tamarind Lane has a lot of trees that keep our side of the street a bit cooler in the summer months. I usually close up around seven, once I have swept the floor and made sure all the tools are back in their drawers for the next day.
